New Early Career Exchange Program – Apply Now!


The IPPS Eastern Region Foundation is excited to support a new Early Career Exchange Program for young members! In partnership with the IPPS Southern and Western North American Regions, this initiative provides a $2,000 stipend for one Eastern Region member () to attend the 2025 European IPPS Region Annual Meeting in Peterborough, England (October 8-10, 2025). The selected participant will also have the opportunity to visit English nurseries and gardens.

AmericanHort urges exclusion of sphagnum peat moss from proposed Canadian tariff

In five letters, AmericanHort urged the administration to exclude sphagnum peat moss and peat-based products from any proposed tariffs or grant a "critical mineral" status, thereby reducing the tariff rate to 10%.
