SPRING SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEON

On March 12th we celebrated scholarship donors and recipients at our Spring Scholarship Luncheon. Over 125 attendees enjoyed a delicious meal from Strada Italiano. This event takes place each semester and allows donors to get to know scholarship recipients.

WELCOME HEIDI SERMERSHEIM

Please join us in welcoming Heidi Sermersheim as the new Executive Assistant to College Advancement. Heidi is an A-B Tech Alumni who brings years of experience in higher education to the team. We are so excited for Heidi to join the team!

FOUNDATION BOARD

Members of the A-B Tech Foundation Board toured our Advanced Manufacturing Center on April 10th. Kevin Kimrey, Director of Economic & Workforce Development led the tour, giving board members an in depth look at how the center is helping build and sustain a skilled workforce here in Western North Carolina. The tour included a manufacturing simulation line as well as high-tech machining equipment and robotics demonstrations.
