COVID-19 Vaccine Update
NHPR covers our first at home vaccine visit
Cornerstone VNA’s COVID-19 Response Coordinator, June Gallup, RN, has been working closely with the State and Regional Public Health Networks as well as the Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Alliance of NH to coordinate vaccinations for our patients. We are now able to vaccinate our truly homebound patients, who cannot get to a fixed vaccine distribution site, and their eligible caregivers. In addition, June is managing a list of patients who have documented their desire to get vaccinated at home. On her first vaccination visit to one of our homebound patients, June was joined by Alli Fam, New Hampshire Public Radio Reporter (NHPR), who recorded this important milestone.

Expanded Service Area
Five Towns Added to the CVNA Service Area
We are now proudly serving the New Hampshire towns of Stratham, Hampton, North Hampton, Hampton Falls and Seabrook.

With the addition of these five communities, Cornerstone VNA now offers home care, hospice, palliative, private duty and community services to over 40 towns in New Hampshire and Maine.

If you have family and friends who live in these towns, forward this email to share the good news!
Celebrating Volunteers
Volunteer Appreciation Week - April 18-24
We are delighted to recognize and celebrate our volunteers during Volunteer Appreciation Week.

Last year our volunteers shared more than 4,500 hours of their time. We are truly grateful for their kindness, friendship and support of our patients and staff!

If you know a volunteer, be sure to say thank you and give them a big air hug!

Health Care Decisions Day - April 16th
April 16 is National Healthcare Decisions Day, a day that recognizes the importance of Advance Directives. Defined by the Foundation for Healthy Communities, “Advance Directives are instructions you give regarding your future care. To ensure that everyone understands your instructions, the State of New Hampshire recognizes a written advance directive as a legal document with two parts: a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care and a Living Will.”

If you'd like to learn more, call our office at 800-691-1133 to speak to a Social Worker, or visit The Conversation Project online.
Virtual Vet to Vet Café
Cornerstone VNA hosts a monthly virtual Vet to Vet Café. All veterans are welcomed to meet up and simply listen, share their stories or just enjoy their coffee.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our cafés will be virtual until further notice. Our next virtual café is on Tuesday, April 20 at 12pm. Email Katie to learn more and to receive the virtual link to attend.

Cornerstone VNA is proud to be a We Honor Veterans Level 4 Partner.
Virtual Caregiver Café
“Fill your mug with your favorite brew, and fill your heart with something new."

Due to COVID-19, our monthly caregiver cafés continue to be virtual! Join us on-line and touch base with our team and other family caregivers. We will often invite special guests to cover topics of interest to provide support and encouragement to you during these challenging times. Email Ann Vennard or call 603-994-6941 for the link to join.

The next virtual Caregiver Café is Wednesday, April 28 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am.
