Do you suffer from allergies?

Greetings!

According to the Weather Network's Pollen report, the most common pollens in Vancouver are rated HIGH for the next two days: True Grasses; Pine, Fir, Spruce; Nettles & Pellitory (For those botanists-intrigued, you can find the definition of Vancouver's species on the Aerobiology site).

Anti-histamines are a great quick solution in alleviating immediate symptoms but provide very little support in boosting the immune system.  This means that every season, your body can be more susceptible to common pollens should your immune system be compromised. Acupuncture alone is a fantastic drug-free alternative in creating optimal health, especially with immune support.  In addition, NAET is another drug-free alternative, when combined with Acupuncture, have amazing results.

Not only are Acupuncture and NAET effective in treating pollen sensitivities, they also help with boosting the immune system so as to not be as sensitive to animal dander, food sensitivities, other environmental factors such as dust, mold or smoke, to name a few.

If you are an allergy sufferer and are looking for a drug-free solution, contact me via email or on my cell (604) 603-1163. I am more than happy to speak to you about any questions you may have!

CBC has written a great article on the four seasons of hay fever.

What season affects you most?

The first line of this Psychology Today article reads "STAY FREE OF ALLERGIES FOR LIFE!" (note the CAPS!).  This article is a great and informative article explaining the NAET technique and how its effectiveness helps with allergies.

NAET has worked for me first-hand as it cleared an emotional allergy I had to eggs.  For 13 years, I've stayed clear from eggs for fear that there would not be a toilet readily available should I eat them.  Having said that, if concealed in banana bread, other baked goods, and even fried rice, I was able to eat them.  It was the sight of eggs that instantly made my stomach turn.

NAET not only helped with desensitizing my body from eggs exposure, it also dug deeper to find the root of the problem.  In my case, I had developed an emotional allergy to eggs in 1999 upon my very first backpacking trip to Guatemala.  Travelling on a budget, I ate eggs, beans and rice for most of my meals.  Until one bad egg and a long bus ride without a nearby toilet changed all of that in an instant.  Since then, I was unable to eat eggs without getting the tummy toss & turns.  I would have never thought that you can develop an "emotional" allergy but with a few NAET sessions combined with Acupuncture, I am happy to say that I can now eat eggs with no repercussions!

I am a Certified NAET practitioner as listed on the
NAET website and am confident that I can help boost your immune system so as to alleviate the reactions to allergen exposure.

It's difficult to find the time to devote to your health but the sooner you do, the sooner your quality of life increases. There's no better time to start than the present moment!

As Buddha says, "
The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly."

To health and longevity,
