Lucky Leprechaun Cookie Bark

Ingredients

.
 Ingredients
  • 14 whole Thin Mints or Mint Oreos, broken up.
  • 1 1/2 C pretzels, broken into pieces. I used the small stick pretzels
  • 1 lb. white chocolate, almond bark or melts found in the bulk food section
  • 1 C green M & M's , mint flavored work great or just milk chocolate.
  • green and white sprinkles

Instructions

  • Cover a large cookie sheet with wax paper
  • Spread broken cookies, pretzels and about 3/4 C of the M & M's onto the waxed paper
  • Place white chocolate in a container and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes
  • Stir and then microwave for another 30 seconds until melted and smooth
  • White chocolate melts faster and burns easier than chocolate
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cookie mixture, spreading with spatula if needed to coat evenly
  • Sprinkle remaining M & M's and colored sprinkles over the chocolate while it is still wet
  • Do not let it harden
  • Place cookie tray into refrigerator until set and firm
  • Remove and gently break bark into small pieces
  • Store in air tight container

Spring is just around the corner!  Time for all things to be renewed.

Are we the only ones that are waiting with bated breath for the Spring to hurry up and get here?  We have endured freezing cold weather, ice storms, and messy snow.  It now seems that we are all in agreement... bring on the warmer weather!

However, the intensity of the weather this winter has left many of us with the job of spring cleaning both the outside and the inside of our homes.  In some cases, hiring a handy man for help with fallen trees or drooping gutters is essential to maintaining the outside structure of our homes.

Inside our homes, the kitchen has become the focal point of the family gatherings.  Spring is a great time to start that kitchen remodel and have your kitchen ready for entertaining this summer.

Another perfect springtime project is tackling those closets and garages and de-cluttering your life.

As always, please contact us for resources to spruce up your home.  We are here to help.

Spring Cleaning that closet!
Here's some helpful hints from
Edit by Lauren:

It's been a LONG winter and we're all more than ready for Spring. March is the perfect time to begin getting your wardrobe ready for the much-anticipated warmer days ahead. Here are a few tips to help get your closet in tip-top shape for a new season.

Start with sorting and purging. Go through your wardrobe, item by item, and pull out pilled, outdated, dis-colored and mis-fitting clothes. Create piles for donation, consignment and alterations/repairs.

Rules of thumb on what to edit ::
If you haven't worn something an entire season, you should probably get rid of it. If something makes you feel "frumpy" or you have a negative image of yourself in an item, let it go. You'll never feel great in it! {There's probably a reason you take it off every time you try it on!} Less is more when it comes to what is in your closet!

Next, determine what you need to replace.
The most common items that need replaced annually are layering pieces like tee-shirts and tanks {especially white!}, jeans and other pants/bottoms you wear often, and go-to shoes that you wear daily.
Lastly, make sure you have these five Spring timeless "wardrobe essentials" white jeans, a denim jacket, a colorful scarf, a nautical striped tee and a pair of neutral wedge sandals that can go from day to night.
