A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR DIGITAL INCLUSION

A Tech Goes Home graduate at Village of Joy in West Roxbury

2020 was an extraordinarily difficult year. It was also a transformational year, bringing digital inequity – which has been an issue for decades – into the public eye and deepening our understanding of the systemic injustices and oppressive systems at the root of the digital divide.
Our Distance Learning programs are in full swing. We have worked with volunteers to produce even more digital skills tutorials and have hosted 27 webinars since moving online in March of 2020. As we continue to improve and expand our current programs and services, we are also looking ahead to how we will move forward and grow our impact beyond the pandemic. Tech Goes Home is ready to take on an even greater role in addressing the deep digital inequities that have been highlighted over the past year.
We couldn't have done it without the dedication and strength of the entire TGH community. Thank you for your commitment to digital equity.

The Tech Goes Home team is excited to share our newly released Opportunity Blueprint. This document will help guide TGH as we chart a path beyond the pandemic.
The Opportunity Blueprint spells out how we plan to grow in four key areas:
- Earned Revenue Development
- Geographic Footprint
- Distance Learning Opportunities
- Advocacy
The pandemic has shown a terrible spotlight on the issue of digital exclusion and we believe now is the time for us to step up and do more, but we can’t do it alone. We are in this position of opportunity because of our incredibly strong community of learners, graduates, instructors, volunteers, and donors. Thank you for your support as we forge ahead into this new chapter of TGH history!
