Spring 2019
SPRING 2019 NEWSLETTER
A NOTE FROM LYNNE
Happy spring everyone! I love this time of year when you never know what you'll get—snow, rain, or sweet sunshine.

I hope you're able to spend lots of time with your families marveling at the dynamism and renewal of spring.

As the year blossoms into the fullness of summer, this is a good time of year for all of us to think about what we want to create and shape in our lives.

You'll see in this edition of the newsletter that Parenting Now! is also doing its own renewal. As we begin this quarter, we're watching families joining together, getting to know each other, and beginning the process of being intentional parents to their children.

Our staff and board are busy working to make this all possible. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and at the agency!

Warmly,

Lynne Swartz
Executive Director

FAMILY SPOTLIGHT: The Fullers
How did you hear about Parenting Now!?
We learned about Parenting Now! when we needed breastfeeding support for our first child when she was 4 days old and found a piece of paper the hospital had given us with Baby Connection’s information on it.

What made you decide to enroll in a Parenting Now! group?
We got such great support at Baby Connection and WellMama, and several people mentioned the Incredible INFANTs group. We decided it sounded like a fun way to meet other parents and learn more about our baby’s development.

What groups did you sign up for?
We enrolled in Incredible INFANTs group and then took the Wonderful ONEs group the next year. READ MORE

PN! Staff Spotlight:
Meredith Tufts

Parenting Now! has such a wide variety of programs to address the many challenging aspects of parenting! As a parent, it can be hard to value our own need for community and camaraderie, to make time for ourselves, and to ask for help, but these are some of the greatest gifts we can give our children. When we help ourselves to find answers, support, and peace of mind, we are able to become the parents we want to be! READ MORE
PN! Board Spotlight:
Julie Kollmorgen

My favorite thing about being on the board is being able to collaborate with other board members and staff who are as passionate as I am about PN's mission. We come together once a month, with the same goal, and together contribute to the success of the organization. It is so rewarding to be a part of such an amazing team and to be a part of the amazing work that they do.
