Lisa Gleim's current exhibition is featured in a 2 page article in the April Issue of American Art Collector!
Here is an excerpt from the article:

"Gleim is the fourth generation of her family to enjoy summers on the coastal region of Pawleys Island South Carolina, where the gallery is also located. "It's one of those places that has a deep-rooted place in my heart," the places and inhabitants of the island, and I combine my loves of nature, wildlife and water [into this new collection]." ...

...."This show encompasses more of the local inhabitants of the environment, not just the environment itself," says Gleim. "Instead of just a pretty marsh scene, I've added what lives there. You get a sense of the ecosystem."
Gallery Artist, Sandy Scott will also be teaching a workshop at Brookgreen Gardens (Murrells Inlet, SC) October 4-8, 2021.
"Birds in Sculpture, with Sandy Scott" will begin with a discussion of bird anatomy, the principles of aerodynamics, and how to achieve the illusion of movement in sculptures of birds in flight. Students will learn how to construct an armature for blocking-in birds in flight. Sandy Scott will help students determine the difference between a sculpture that is technically adequate and one that has spirit and life.
