Digi Talk Spring

Dear Friends,

I hope you all had a blessed day on Easter, celebrating Christ's Resurrection. Spring is a time of new beginnings and a time of great hope. My family finally found our forever home and look forward to moving in at the end of April. It was a long 10 months. God is good, and the timing is perfect. The months of waiting were much like the waiting in the Lenten season, followed by the rejoicing that comes with Christ's resurrection on Easter.

Now, it is tax season, and for the first time, we are not using a CPA. Please pray for us. I believe I found a generous person that will look over our records and make sure I am doing everything correctly. This is another time of asking God for help and God putting someone in place to help us continue our mission. God is Good.

I leave you with this: "Faith is not knowing God can; it is believing that He will."

Thank you and God bless,

Laurie van der Roest

We Are One with the

Risen Christ

Lord, we lift our hearts to you. As the dawn breaks, may we carry the unity we share into every moment, knowing that we are one with the risen Christ. Lord, we lift our eyes to you. May this moment stay with us as the sun rises, reminding us to look for the beautiful colors of promise in your word. Lord, we lift our prayers to you. As the dew air falls, may we breathe this morning in and know that, like the earth, you sustain us, keep us and work within us always. And so, we lift our voices to you. We celebrate the greatest day in history, when Jesus rose from death, defeated darkness, and bathed the world in stunning resurrection light. May we ever live to praise you! Amen.

Staff Spotlight

Georgia Henney

Little did I realize how audiobooks could mean a life change for the blind and visually impaired. What if my legally blind dad could have listened to books in lieu of napping all day? What if my husband could have completed his doctoral degree with audiobooks he desperately needed due to his diabetic retinopathy?

My dedication to producing audiobooks prevails in my work at Audiobook Ministries. Even though I can no longer contribute to people who were near and dear to me, it is in their memory that I work toward blessing our visually disabled or handicapped patrons in the "reading" of books they can otherwise no longer enjoy. I am blessed to be a part of the life-changing endeavor of Audiobook Ministries.
