Water and Energy Education Newsletter
March 2020
Hello Teachers,

Happy spring! These warm days of late have brought changes everywhere you look from the reappearance of shorts and t-shirts to blooming trees and awakened butterflies. As the season changes and we look ahead to the rest of the school year, there are still ways to get involved with Sonoma Water and our education program.

This spring, we are offering a new series of public tours that will include nature walks and a visit to our Water Education Center along the Russian River. Perhaps you've been to the Russian River with your students on one of our field trips, and always wanted to bring your family? Now is your chance to share this beautiful location along the river with your family or friends and spend the day exploring and learning with one of our experienced educators.
Tours may include a stop at the Fish Ladder and Viewing Gallery, depending on weather conditions.

T ours are available in English and Spanish. Los siguientes tours estarán disponibles en español y en inglés.

What's new? Look for a new text box with language appropriate for younger students that describes where our water comes from. There is also a challenge that asks students to find several items found on the map, like 4 scientists conducting field research.
