Spring favourite!

The magnolias arrived last week, so many beautiful varieties, classic Leonard Messell , elegant Jane, deep purple Susan and my personal favourite Royal Star.

I love any shrub that is scented, Royal Star is a beautiful white star shaped magnolia that has a lovely delicate fragrance. A nice size for most yards at 10-12ft tall.

These starry blooms dance in the wind creating an elegant spring garden.

It simply is not spring in the garden without lilacs!

This season, as always, we have many different colours and varieties to suit every lilac lover; white, dark purple, lavender & soft pink.

New for 2022 is Lilac New Age Lavender

nostalgically scented like those you remember in your grandmother's garden but with a smaller statue. These beauties grow only 4 1/2 ft tall & wide.

I took this picture early this morning while walking my dog Gord. I don't think there is any other shrub that truly signals the beginning of spring than Forsythia!( wish I had room for one)

This old fashion beauty is always a beacon of light after a long cold winter. Forsythia shrubs have just arrived at our garden centres this week.

New arrival ! David Austin Rose Sceptre Ilse is simply breathtaking. We have sourced a bunch of new Austin roses for the 2022 season. Too many to list here!

The roses arrived yesterday in Smiths Falls, we are just unpacking & pricing them. 

They will be shipped to Brockville by the weekend for our  open house.

The fruit trees have arrived!

Many of you have been inquiring about them over the last few weeks.

Lots of varieties of apples including the popular combo apple trees, pears, plums, cherries ( sweet & sour), peaches, & nectarines. We also have ESPALIERS ! We haven't been able to source any for the last few years.  These fruit trees grow along a fence or wall, perfect for small spaces or chic European garden vibes. 

Our combo apples are also a great choice for those who just have space for one apple tree

The fuchsia hanging baskets & our gorgeous begonia hanging baskets have just come out of the greenhouse and they are simply divine this season!

The perfect Mother's Day gift for plant lovers.
