Saddlehill Academy - Sweet & Bitter Rivals

We haven't forgotten our elementary and middle school readers! Jessica Burkhart is the author of 26 books for children and teens and is launching a new series called Saddlehill Academy.

The series takes place at an elite boarding school for equestrians. In the first installment, Sally St. Clair is excited for a new year and new season of competition after a year of family upheaval and embarassment at the fina;l competition of last season. But the start of a new year is sometimes rocky and an innocent mistake leads to Sally receiving mysterious threats and feeling added pressure.

This would be a great pick to kick off summer reading for any elementary and middle schoolers interested in horse riding or real-life, relatable stories.
