We hope you had a great winter season! Thank you to everyone who has participated in our programs over the past few months. We had a lot of fun this winter and we hope you did too! Now that its warming up outside, it is time to start thinking about spring and summer camps and clinics! We have tons of programs planned for you and your children. Take a look below to find out more!

Spring Hockey
Classes Start April 16th
Hockey skating development program targeting new players ages 4 to 18 years old. This program is appropriate for the first time hockey player looking to enter cross-ice or recreational hockey programs in the fall. Players will focus on hockey skating skills and will be introduced to basic stick handling and skating drills. Full gear is required. Students will be grouped by age and skill level. Players must have completed and passed Learn to Skate - Hockey 1 or be evaluated by a coach before being accepted into the program.

Practice Starts March 19th
The Cross-Ice Hockey Program is designed to meet the needs of the beginner hockey player. Basic skills will be taught in a non-competitive environment. Fun, physical development, skill and a pleasurable environment will be stressed. The program will make your child's organized athletic experience a positive one. There is a lot of learning and the kids have tons of fun!  The program includes 28 one hour sessions of both practice and games! All players will receive NJFREEZE jersey and socks!

Starting March 7th
This clinic is for players with an 07' / 06' birth year. Clinic will focus on power skating, shooting, puck control, team play drills, positioning, scrimmages, and game rules. Clinic is $200 for more than 12 hours of instructional ice time! Clinic times and days will vary; 3/7 from 4:45 to 6:00pm, 3/13 from 4:15 to 5:30pm, 3/19 from 2:30 to 3:45pm, 3/26 from 2:30 to 3:45pm, 4/2 from 2:30 to 3:45pm, 3/8 from 4:45 to 6:00pm, 3/15 from 4:45 to 6:00pm, 3/22 from 5:30 to 6:45pm, 3/29 from 6:00 to 7:15pm, and 4/5 from 6:00 to 7:15pm.

Spring Leagues
The season starts in late April and runs to the end of June. There is a 15 player roster limit per team and the top four teams in each division will playoff for the championship. Tied games will be decided with a shootout and the home team must provide a scorekeeper.  Each team will play a 12 game season plus playoffs. All games will be played at the 2016-17 level of play.  Individual sign ups will be put onto a Hockey Boss team in each division.

Aspen Ice is forming a 2016 Spring Squirt Hockey League for players with 06', 07' birth years (08' with league approval). Games are played on Mondays in the early evening, with the exception of a few Saturday games.

(upper and lower levels)
Aspen Ice is forming a 2016 Spring Middle School Hockey League for players going into 6th, 7th, or 8th grades. Games are played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the early evening, with the exception of a few Saturday games.

Aspen Ice is forming a 2016 Spring High School Hockey League for players going into 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grades. Games are played on Thursday and Friday in the early evening, with the exception of a few Saturday games.
Our goal is to provide each skater with a safe, healthy and fun environment where they learn what it takes to reach their true potential as ice hockey players. Through intensive and specialized instruction of all aspects of the game, we hope to teach each player to not only play the game better, but also enjoy it! Campers will be divided into groups based on age and ability. Each skater will participate in high intensity drills in order to improve skills and build confidence.
Spring Figure Skating
Whether you wish to pursue hockey or figure skating or just be able to enjoy the occasional arena visit with family and friends, Learn to Skate classes are the first step to success! Each level teaches skills that encourage basic coordination, balance and movement in a fun and entertaining atmosphere.
Our Learn to Skate Summer Camp will focus on the skills that the beginner skater needs to skate forwards, backwards, and stop! Once skaters finish the beginner level (Basic 1), they will be able to move into the Learn to Skate Program, Figure Skating Camp, and many other programs!
All skaters level Basic 2 and up will be split up by age and level for two hours of on ice instruction, one hour of practice ice time, and two hours of off ice instruction! Each skater will work on skills in and above their level! Click on the link above to find out more and register online!
