CEC Celebrates it's Ten Year Anniversary! | | Outgoing Executive Director, Dr, James R. Dolan, Jr. giving opening remarks.
CEC Health Care celebrated it's Ten Year Anniversary this past March at The Cottage at Milleridge Inn.
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Ten Years of Excellence and Compassion alongside our incredible staff, patients and families.
The honorees for this evening were Patrick Bardsley, Co-Founder and CEO of Spectrum Designs Foundation, and Pamela D. Panzenbeck, Mayor of Glen Cove.
CEC Health Care was established in 2015 to serve the medical needs of underserved populations, such as Medicaid and Medicare recipients, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Over the years, CEC has expanded to offer Mental and Behavioral Health, Addiction Treatment, Mental Health Housing, and Health Home Care management, among other services. We are honored to serve Long Island – and we are looking forward to the next ten years!

At CEC Health Care, we are committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of our communities.
In observation of Mental Health Awareness Month, our team members at each center (clockwise: Bethpage, Seaford, Glen Cove, Hauppauge) wore Mental Health Awareness shirts with the green ribbon symbol.
Together, we can raise awareness and break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Thank you Erin for representing CEC, and for sharing all of the ways that we support the mental health needs of our communities.
CEC Health Care is wishing a happy retirement to our Executive Director of seven years, Dr. James R. Dolan Jr.
Dr. Dolan has been a trailblazing force that has transformed CEC Health Care from a single health center, to the four location health organization offering the wide range of health care and other programs and services that it does today.
Succeeding Dr. Dolan is John Javis, who previously oversaw Glen Cove operations, which included the clinics licensed by OMH, OASAS and DOH, the Community Mental Health Promotion and Support Program, and the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic.
Please join us in congratulating John Javis on his role as Executive Director, leading CEC Health Care!

CEC Healthcare has been awarded a $450,000 grant from New York State to establish a Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. This initiative aims to provide intensive, community-based mental health services to youth, offering support in familiar environments like homes and schools. The program is designed to reduce the need for emergency room visits and hospitalizations by delivering care directly to those in need.
CEC Health Care's new Executive Director, John Javis, said, "The idea is to provide a clinic 'on wheels' to bring treatment and counseling directly to the community."
This grant underscores CEC Healthcare's commitment to enhancing mental health care for young individuals on Long Island.
