Spring Registration is Coming March 8
Southold Town Recreation Brochure Preview Starts March 5!

Pull out your spring calendars and make room for a new batch of Recreation Department programs. The Southold Town Recreation Program Brochure will be released on Thursday, March 8, and programs will be open for registration starting at 8 a.m. that day.   We will post a program preview through the online portal starting March 5.

As usual, we are bringing back some time-honored favorites, especially the fitness programs, but we have also added some fun new programs, too.

New programs include:

Storytime Yoga for children ages 5 - 8 - follow along with yoga poses that match the characters in the story told by instructor Kyleen Vernon

Use It or Lose It Fall Prevention for Seniors - low impact strength and balance exercises to keep you active and mobile.

Art Journaling - discover how the creativity of art journaling can relieve stress, and reveal your own visual stories.

Cooking with Paula Croteau - Explore the culinary possibilities of farmhouse cooking with this series presented by this local cookbook author and cooking school chef.

Attention baseball fans!
We have already scheduled the summer baseball bus trips, and registration will begin with the Spring programs.

Mets vs. Nationals, Friday, July 13 (t-shirt Friday)

Yankees vs. Royals, Friday, July 27.

Visit the Online Portal starting Monday, March 5 to preview these new programs along with the returning classes, such as tennis and golf lessons, yoga, ballroom dancing, pickleball, and more.

Please remember, registration will open on March 8, so you will only be able to read  the full program descriptions until then.

Click here to visit the "Search Events" page and then scroll to navigate to the program that interests you.

Please remember that all program registrations are done through the Online Portal, and requires ALL participants set-up a Household User Account. This works best with an email address, but participants who do not use email may still register a Household User Account by visiting the Recreation Department (Refer to article at the end of this newsletter).

The Online Registration Portal has been in operation since March 2016, and we appreciate everyone's support and cooperation in making a success. Thank you!
