We are excited to announce that the National CCAA is partnering with StriveScan to host two virtual college fairs this spring. StriveScan’s 6x6 Virtual College Fair format exposes students to a wide range of colleges in a lively and safe environment.
Since last spring, StriveScan has hosted virtual college fairs and other virtual college admission programs nationwide, with over 300,000 students and 2,000 colleges and universities participating. We are partnering with StriveScan to create a unique opportunity for CCAA students and families.
Fair #1: Thursday, March 25th, 2021
5:00-7:45 PM Central Time
Fair #2: Sunday, April 11th, 2021
1:00-3:45 PM Central Time
StriveScan’s 6x6 Virtual College Fair Format
After college registration closes, colleges will be randomly assigned by us to a group with 5 other institutions (total of 6 colleges per group). Your group’s session will be 45-minutes long, allowing for each institution to present for 6 minutes.
- Throughout the entire 45 minutes, students will be able to ask questions via chat.
- There will be multiple concurrent group sessions happening each hour.
- Students will register through StriveScan for each group session they want to attend.
- All 6 institutions in the group will receive the StriveScan student data for all of the students who registered for your group’s session.
- Your total time commitment is approximately one hour.
- Sessions are hosted by StriveScan via Zoom Webinars (students will not be on camera).
National CCAA Member Registration
The cost to participate is $150 per institution for participation in one fair (can be either fair), or $250 per institution for participation in both fairs. Please note that the 1 fair for $150/2 fairs for $250 rate only applies when a college registers for both fairs at the same time and cannot be applied retroactively. If a college registers for one fair now and later decides to register for the second fair, they will be charged $150 both times.
Registration closes on March 8th, 2021 for the first fair, and March 22nd, 2021 for the second fair. We are unable to accept any late registrations for the virtual college fairs.
Once college registration closes, we publish the schedule and notify you of your hour-long time block and the other institutions with which you will be presenting during your session.
You may have up to two representatives from your institution as presenters during each session. Some institutions may want to have one representative dedicated to answering questions in the chat.
