The DocYard, Boston’s home for artful nonfiction cinema, is honored to announce our full Spring 2022 program of documentary films and visiting filmmakers. The program runs from February 7th, starting with Fan Jian's, After the Rain, and runs through May 16th, ending with Erin and Travis Wilkerson's Nuclear Family.
We're continuing screenings in the Brattle, the DocYard’s long-time partner venue, with in-person reserved seating screenings for the general public and passholders, and virtual screening windows available only to passholders.
Ticket reservations for in-person screenings can be made through the Brattle's website – passholders can purchase tickets at the door, but we encourage purchasing ahead of time! See About Your Visit for COVID guidelines for reserved seating at the Brattle.
As noted previously, season passholders will have access to screenings in person and virtually with their pass throughout the season. Our $49 season pass gives you access to all eight programs, one free popcorn, and your very own DocYard tote! Passholders will receive separate instructions on how to access each film virtually with confirmation of when it’s available to stream (usually 2-3 days after the in-person screening) and the length of the virtual screening window. Being a season passholder is the only way to watch films virtually this season.
After you purchase a pass, we will send you an email within the next two days with instructions on how to use your pass throughout the season to access films and other perks. Students can also purchase a pass at a discounted rate and can reach out to us at docyard@lef-foundation.org for more information on how to purchase! Please let us know if you have any questions at any point.
We hope you join us this season as we continue to foster conversations about the craft and possibilities of nonfiction filmmaking!
