The Spring Season is Upon us!!

Still Skiing for those interested

The rental shop is now closed, and the grooming is all done. But that manmade snow is still holding on. If you have some rock skis, the skiing is actually pretty good.

You will find people walking on the trails, and dogs enjoying the network with their owners (please pick up after them), but you will also find snow, sun and smiles. Might be worth it if you need to get a few more kms before you put the skis into storage.

Some Additional Thanks

I wanted to send out some additional thanks to our new staff this season, Connel Foster and Ashley Charlston.

We were excited to add Ashley to the Rental Shop team. Ashley has been a part of the club for many years and it was great to have her in the office assisting new skiers, members and visitors.

Connel joined the grooming team last winter and was keen to return again this season. He worked hard to ensure the best possible conditions for our skiers throughout this challenging season and was an asset when machines were breaking down.

Both Ashley and Connel were able to fit the club into their busy schedules and we appreciate all they did throughout the season. We look forward to seeing them back again in the future.

Check out the New Website!!

We have a new website. Check it out, let us know what you think. Your input is appreciated. Big thanks to Lisa Connor for all her hard work in making this happen.

Also, thanks to Shift Creative Solutions

We are not there yet!

A common strategy for most of our members when they receive this newsletter is to put the storage wax on the skis, pack everything away and pull out the bikes. Please remember, there is a bit of time between the two seasons.

Pull out the bikes, get them tuned up, build up biking muscles on the road, but please hold off on riding the singletrack trails. They are not ready. We will let you know when they are as we will be some of the first out there.

Thank you for your patience!
