As Spring peak comes to a close, our focus will begin shifting to staff office/location moves connected to the Student Affairs realignment. These moves will take place in planned phases to allow for thoughtful coordination and to minimize disruption as much as possible. We are working closely with Student Affairs leadership to ensure each phase is aligned, well-communicated, and supported. If you are among the staff impacted by a move, you will receive clear information about timing, logistics, and next steps.
You should have already received communication from your leaders regarding proactive space moves. We want to reiterate that we appreciate employees who have proactively moved closer to their teams to better support students. If you have moved into a new space on your own, you may remain there temporarily. Please note that permanent space assignments will be communicated via email in the coming weeks.
At this point, data has been received from all areas, and we’ve identified approximately 145 employees who will require a new space assignment or relocation. Student Affairs leadership is currently reviewing a proposed wave-based space plan, along with a detailed space plan that outlines impacted teams, proposed moves, and key logistics.
As this work continues, we will remain closely partnered with our Change Management team, as well as Facilities, Operations, IT, and other college partners, to support aligned timelines and smooth transitions.
We also want to share that renovations at Round Rock Campus (RRC) are nearing completion. Some teams will be transitioning into these refreshed spaces, and individuals impacted by those moves will receive additional, more specific updates soon from RRC project managers and campus leadership.
