Charles Corbett III, graduates from Montclair State University, Class of 2019
Congratulation to this amazing young man, who defied the odds and graduated from Montclair State University with a degree in Theater and the Arts.

Charles is a world class swimmer who has overcome so many obstacles because of the love, support and determination of his Amazing and Awesome mom, Cheryl.

Charles lived on campus, was on the swim team, traveled back and forth on the bus on his own, had a few jobs including working for Nassan's Place.
He is truly an inspiration to so many.

Charles is also on the Autism Spectrum.
Another example of how individuals affected by Autism can do anything any other individual can do if just given the opportunity.

Excerpts from Charles:

Always, remember that obstacles are opportunities for growth.

You need an inspiring and meaningful picture of growth.

Your life is a work of art, so paint your picture.

Always, remember to Pay It Forward Give Back, by sharing your experiences with others. It will allow others to learn and grow.

4/28/19
Nassan's Place, families were invited for the 2nd year to attend Autism Sunday and Fair hosted by Rev. Dr. Lloyd P. Terrell, Mother Marguerite Terrell and the congregation of Franklin St. John's United Methodist Church.

It was an Amazing, Inspirational and uplifting day.

For many of our families it will be an unforgettable day of understanding and acceptance.

Some had never taken their children affected by Autism to church due to the stigma and lack of education about Autism.

The families were welcomed with open arms. The day included a shorter sermon with a great message by Rev. Dr. Lloyd P. Terrell, an Autism Fair which included resources, music, free haircuts, manicures, face-painting, photo booth, magic show, dance performance, giveaways, dinner and surprises.
