OLLI at SOU Spring Term Begins Today!

Our Spring 2025 term kicks off today, Monday, March 31, and we are excited to see the campus full of new and familiar faces. We hope everyone enjoys their spring courses, programs and activities.

We still have many offerings with space for more members. Check out our online catalog to see what is still available.

Changed your mind about taking a course? Please email the OLLI office at olli@sou.edu with "DROP" in the subject line and include your name and the title of the course(s). This makes courses available to members on waitlists.

NOTE: Due to plumbing work at the Campbell Center there are a few large, steel plates on Frances Lane and one handicapped parking spot is not available.

Housekeeping

Any members who borrow a reusable mug from the lounge are responsible for washing the mug when they are finished.

Nametags

Members interested in requesting a nametag should send the request to olli@sou.edu and allow one week for the nametag to be created.

Cascade Housing Demolition

There are still demolition teams working next door on the Cascade Housing Demolition. Please do not enter the fenced-off work area.

It's that time again to sign up for the One Credit Program. Forms are due by Wednesday, April 23. OLLI at SOU members who participate in the One Credit program receive free access to the SOU Hannon Library for the duration of the academic term. Plus, SOU receives funding from the State of Oregon for every one-credit OLLI at SOU course a student is enrolled in.

To participate, you must be age 65+ and have lived in Oregon for at least 12 months.

You only need to fill out the One Credit Form if:

You are a new OLLI at SOU member this term, or
You did not fill out the One Credit Form for Winter 2025.

When in doubt, fill it out! Staff will filter out any duplicate submissions. Last term we had 310 OLLI members participate in One Credit. Let's see if we can break 400 this spring!
