Spring into NEW Life!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

As we reflect on the great blessing we have in the saving power of Jesus' death and resurrection, we rejoice! What a privilege we have to be accepted as children of the one and only Almighty God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ! As you look around you this Spring and enjoy the new life in the trees and flowers, remember the new life Christ has given you and share that great Love with others so they may be blessed as well. Please pray with us here at Blue Mountain Christian Retreat as we begin our busy season. Please pray for:

God to send workers and volunteers to serve our guests with His great love.
Health, safety, wisdom and strength for all staff
God to send blessed revival and refreshment to each heart who comes to the Mountain

Worship and Prayer for Children

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

Children and Faith

One of our goals here at BMCR is to bring families together in the Word of God and strengthen them to return back to the hustle and bustle of every day life with Faith that can change their world. Today's children are faced with hurdles at every turn, so it is very important for families and churches to support them and equip them. Here are a few tips to help the children in your life grow in the Lord:

Encourage children to be an active part of worship! Let them make a joyful noise unto the Lord and see your joy in it as well.
Make a practice of memorizing Bible verses with them. Post them on your fridge and have a family/friends Bible verse memory challenge!
Making up motions to go along with the songs and Bible verses is great to help little ones get excited about learning.
Allow the kids to lead the family in prayer before dinner.
Share prayer requests with your children and ask for theirs. Pray together!
