City Seeks Committee Members
Service on a city board or committee is a good way to get involved in Monona. There are currently openings for citizen members on the committees listed below. Interested residents should complete the citizen committee application or call (608) 222-2525 to request a paper application or with any questions they might have. If you have submitted an application for any of these committees in the past three years, your application will be considered. If you have any concerns about how to use Parliamentary Procedure or other questions, please don't let them deter you. We're happy to help. Applications should be submitted by April 4.

Spring Fundraiser:
The Friends of San Damiano are working to raise the crucial funds needed to start a professionally led, 12 to 18-month planning process for the property. To date, FOSD has raised $95,000 of the total projected budget of $150,000. The remaining $55,000 must be raised this spring in order to start planning. To help achieve this goal, Monona residents, Jon and Peggy Traver, have generously offered to match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000! Every $1 you donate brings FOSD $2 closer to reaching their goal. Gifts may be made online at www.sandamianomonona.org/donate or by sending a check made out to Friends of San Damiano to FOSD, P.O. Box 6647, Monona, WI 53716
