Summer Registrations

Summer is a great time to develop deeper connections with your church family at phyouth and midyouth. We hope you will consider joining us for some of these great events. OMP has a waitlist, but space is still available at all other events!

Our COMPLETE SUMMER CALENDAR is being finalized and should be in your inbox by the end of the month!

We are excited to take another Leading and Learning Pilgrimage this summer for students completing 7th-12th grade. One of the commitments of the youth ministry at Pulaski Heights is preparing our young people to be faithful Christian leaders in a complex world.

Now a one day event, on May 27th we will be taking a road trip to learn about the history of civil rights and racism in the US. This will be a small, intimate trip of 13 students and 2-3 adults. We'll be exploring this history at nationally recognized museums and having tender and empowering conversations about how to be an inclusive and informed Christian leader in our own communities and schools.

OZARK MISSION PROJECT JUNE 7-12

Shoal Creek Camp

June 7-12

Current 6th-12th

Ozark Mission Project will be June 7-12th at Shoal Creek Camp. We are taking 7th-graduated 12th graders (so students who are currently in the 6th-12th grade).

OMP is FULL, but if you're interested please JOIN THE WAITLIST.

Join us for this midyouth summer favorite!

Students in 5th-7th grade as of fall 2026 are invited to "dip their toes" into a summer mission experience. Each day we'll have a service project for half the day, and a fun activity for the other half of the day. 8:00 AM-2:30 PM on Tue-Thu, July 7-9.

We will have 30 open spots initially. We will open additional spots as needed if we secure enough adults to do so. Email hdoherty@phumc.com to volunteer so we can take as many students as possible on this amazing experience!

Phyouth (current 7th - 12th) are needed for this dinner theatre style VBC. Youth will be an integral part of making this experience come to life! More specific information will be released soon, but sign up now if you're interested in helping!

Youth currently in grades 10-12 are invited to apply for the Youth Guatemala Mission Trip. We will be selecting between 3-5 youth to attend the mission trip in Guatemala with the medical team. The role of youth on the trip is to learn from the medical team, and support their work in the form of physical set up, and working with children and families receiving care.

Assembly 2024, Conway, AR July 20-24

July 20 - 24th, Assembly is the our longest standing, and most beloved Arkansas Conference Youth Ministry event. Jr High (completing 6th-8th) and Senior High (9th-graduates) are separate groups who stay the same week at Hendrix College.

Assembly allows students to be in small groups with United Methodist Youth from across the state, worship together, and participate in fun activities—making memories for a lifetime! Come enjoy the beautiful campus of Hendrix college, and get the full experience of living in their historic dorms, eating in the award winning cafeteria, and worshipping together in the auditorium with nationally renowned speakers and band. This is an experience you won't want to miss.

Drop off and pick up from Hendrix College.

Adult chaperones are needed. Your experience as a chaperone is always free! Email erowland@phumc.com for details
