Days at the Seashore are getting longer and the sun hangs in the sky a little later each day. As we move into spring at Point Reyes, our Field Institute calendar is full of classes on mindful adventures, arts, flora and fauna, geology, and more. Park Updates & Closures
Annual elephant seal closures in effect: Until March 31, parts of Drakes Beach, Chimney Rock, and South Beach are closed. Drakes Beach Road only open 10am - 4pm.

Harbor Seal Pupping Season Closures in effect: Drakes Estero, Double Point, and the west end of Limantour Spit are closed from March 1 - June 30.

No Drinking Water at Lighthouse: Drinking water is not available at the Lighthouse due to storm damage. Be prepared and bring water if visiting the lighthouse.

Art at the Bear Valley Visitor Center:
West Marin artist Mimi Robinson's watercolor show, "The Home of Our Belonging," can be seen at the Bear Valley Visitor Center now through the end of April, seven days a week, 9:30am to 5pm.
