All schools and district offices will be closed next week for spring break. Students and staff will return to campus Monday, April 11.
Record number of CHS students to participate in Governor's Honors
Six Carrollton High School students – a record number – will be headed to Berry College in Rome this summer to participate in the prestigious Governor’s Honors program, while a seventh is an alternate who still may have the opportunity to attend.

CCS Young Authors head to state competition
Six Carrollton City Schools student authors are heading to state competition after winning the region contest in the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition.

CHS earns AP state recognitions
Carrollton High School’s STEM initiative and the school’s focus on increasing Advanced Placement course offerings and student participation have once again earned CHS state recognition as an AP STEM School in two categories, the 12th consecutive year the high school has received the AP STEM School honor and the 11th time for the AP STEM Achievement School designation. This focus also earned CHS a new designation as an AP Expansion School for increasing AP student participation at least 25 percent over the previous school year.

Ben Scott Sports Auction raises more than $190,000 setting new record
After two years of a virtually-hosted event, the 35th Annual Ben Scott Sports Auction returned to its in-person tradition, netting a record number of tickets sold and more money than ever to support Trojan athletes.

CCS receives donation from Southwire
Southwire recently donated various sizes of shoes to Carrollton City Schools to assist economically disadvantaged students through its Giving Back Program. The department sponsored the collection during their March Madness Event. Southwire’s Giving Back goal is to enable and engage its workforce in building more sustainable communities.
