Strive to Thrive

April 22, 2026

I Work With Artists:

Work-Life Recharge/Change

Consider how often you actually make space to recharge and whether you feel any control over changing your circumstances. At one end, burnout and disconnection make it hard to pause or believe things can shift. Moving forward, you begin to carve out time, recognize your influence, and make more intentional choices. At the highest level, you are actively directing your energy, commitments, and rest in a way that works for you and sets a clear example for others.

SELF-CARE CORNER

Read: In burnout battle, look to the art world for inspiration

What if burnout is not only about fixing systems but also about changing what people experience at work? One health system is bringing art directly into hospitals, using creativity to reduce stress, sharpen observation, and help physicians reconnect with meaning. Backed by research and real results, it raises a bigger question about what happens when healing environments are designed on purpose.
