In today's competitive business environment, it often takes more than just motivation and initiative to succeed. Earning the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation is a way to stand out to prospective home buyers and sellers as a REALTOR® who has gained in-depth knowledge on technical subjects as well as the fundamentals of real estate.

Register now for the GRI 200 program offered during the month of March in Columbus. The focus of the GRI 200 is Negotiating; Technology; Marketing; Social Media and Risk Management.
 
For your convenience we have divided the program into 4 individual days as listed below:
 
Day 1: Tuesday, March 5 – 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Day 2: Wednesday, March 6 – 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Day 3: Tuesday, March 12 – 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Day 4: Wednesday, March 13 – 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
 
The Graduate REALTOR ® Institute (GRI) designation program consists of two courses, the GRI 100 (equivalency exam online) and the GRI 200. These courses can be taken in any sequence, and are designed to meet the needs of both the experienced and inexperienced agent.

The 4-day GRI 200 program is approved for 30 hours of real estate credit (includes 3.5 hours of core law, 26.5 elective hours), and is instructed by Sean Carpenter, Julie Beall, Louise Potter, Alec Hagerty, Peg Ritenour, J.D., and Marlene Burkhart.  (You must be a member in good standing of the National Association of REALTORS ®  to hold the GRI designation).

2019 Issues in Appraisal Practice

This program presents current and anticipated issues in general appraisal practice. Attendees will review the latest legislative initiatives, rulings and announcements by the Ohio Appraisal Board, Appraisal Foundation and Fannie Maw Guidelines, and highlights of the AMC law. We’ll review issues in data collection including third party inspections and USPAP disclosure requirements; legal issues in property; reporting requirements; proposed changes to USPAP; proposed Advisory Opinion dealing with prior appraisals and report content. You will examine the Fannie Mae Collateral Underwriting Program and form updates. Market trends and forecasting will also be reviewed. Register TODAY for this important program! Brokerage Management: Understanding Your Duties

If you are a broker or manager, it is more crucial than ever that your understand your duties in overseeing your brokerage activities. From trust account requirements to oversight of agents and teams, the license law now lays out 14 different areas of responsibility. This 3-hour course will make sure that you have the information you need to stay on the right side of the Division of Real Estate. This course will meet the new continuing education requirement for a separate course on broker responsibility required for principal brokers, managers and associate brokers.
20 Hour Post Licensure for Salespeople

This course is required of all newly licensed salespeople and is to be completed within twelve months of the date you were licensed.

The second day of the course focuses on real-world field scenarios to help negotiators apply the power tools, techniques and tactics learned on the first day.
