Oh, Lord My God, I praise and thank You for Your steadfast love and mercy. No matter the numerous times I face the ups and downs in my life, and no matter how things appear, I know that however things may seem, You will keep Your covenant with me. Today’s reading from the book of Genesis assures me of Your everlasting love. You, O Lord, will keep Your love and willingness to forgive me and walk with me. It is Your steadfast love that helps me to persevere in my times of waiting and wondering how You will respond to me. There was so much I do not know about the future, so much I cannot control. Give me the grace today to be firmly confident of Your commitment to me and Your ever faithfulness. Amen.
