The Department of Public Services has announced that Household Hazardous Waste Collection day will be held on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. More information and a list of acceptable items can be found here

The Scratch platform is one of the most engaging ways to teach kids to code. Students learn the basics of computer programming by arranging puzzle-like blocks into lines of code in a drag-&-drop graphical interface. Come learn the basics of hand sewing with Medway Parks and Recreation! This class, geared toward 2nd-6th graders, teaches a variety of stitches and techniques to create fun little projects to take home and treasure forever. No experience is necessary! Memorial Day Parade
Medway's Annual Memorial Day Parade, honoring Medway Veteran, William Reardon (U.S. Navy, RET) as honorary Grand Marshall, is scheduled for Monday, May 27th at 10:00 a.m. The parade will start at the Medway VFW and proceed down Holliston Street to Matondi Square. The parade will include those men and women who have served in our armed forces, along with VFW members.  More Info .

Help our Metrowest community and donate blood on Thursday, May 30th at the Thayer Homestead, 2B Oak Street. Donations will be accepted between 3:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. All blood collected is kept local, used by Framingham Union, Leonard Morse & Saint Vincent Hospital. Use this link to schedule an appointment.

Field Hockey Clinic
Has your child been wanting to try a new and fun sport? Youth Field Hockey is coming to Medway this fall! No prior skills required. Fall Travel team is for grades 3 to 6 (for next school year starting in Sep 2019). The travel team will participate in the Commonwealth Field Hockey League. Players will receive instruction during practice time and Saturdays will be games against teams in the surrounding area. Registration will open May 31st . More Information

The Medway Parks and Recreation Department is partnering up with the Medway High School fishing club and will hold its First Catch and Release Fishing Derby from 7:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8th at Choate Park. All ages can participate in the derby. More info. & to sign up here

Save the date - Saturday, July 20th for Celebrate Medway Day! Join us for our annual celebration from 2:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at Choate Park and Thayer Homestead.
