May 2020
As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.
- Hosea 6:3
Spring has sprung! Alleluia! During these challenging times, nothing lightens the day like the warmth (and vitamin D) of the bright sun and the sweet sounds of the singing birds.

Spring brings with her a sense of renewal, newness, and hope. Today we welcome hundreds of Concordia graduates into the alumni association. What a glorious time for our graduates, their families, and for the world, as these new alumni, armed with a Christian education, make their paths and impact the lives of so many others. In the words of Dr. Ferry, " the Class of 2020 will long be remembered for their grit and resilience, not only throughout their Concordia careers, but as they have adapted to this remarkable moment in history."

This is indeed a time to celebrate! Please join me in welcoming our newest alumni. Many of them will soon join CUW Connect. We hope you have joined, too. It's a place where you can mentor our newest alumni. Please see the article below for more information.

Blessings on you and your families this spring and always.
Today's the day!

Coach keeps student-athletes connected during COVID-19
Jeremy Schumacher, CUW volleyball coach and licensed therapist, is the first mental wellness coach in Falcons history, in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference history, and, perhaps, even in NCAA Division III athletics history. And he is looking to keep our athletes healthy in mind, body, and spirit during quarantine. Read more here .
