Worth the Time
Throughout March, we watched Man on the Inside on Netflix. The maiden season of this comedy series staring Ted Danson is touching, funny, and entertaining as it follows a retired university professor as he attempts to find purpose after becoming a widower. Balancing personal histories, navigating relationships, incorporating past experiences, and diving into new territory, the main character gets a new lease on life when a private investigator hires him to go undercover inside a San Francisco retirement home. Man on the Inside is light and warm, with a tone that will resonate with adult children, spouses, and others who appreciate a good laugh as they find themselves in the complicated throws of aging, caregiving, and dementia.
