Whoever keeps and teaches the law will be called great
Lord Jesus, you taught us today to follow and observe the law (or the prophets) but not to over-interpret them in our lives. You showed to us that the heart of the laws or the prophets is the true and meaningful relationship with God, who has given us everything. And thus, you called us to follow the greatest commandments, which is to love the Lord God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. As we keep the law and the prophets, may we remember that love should come before all else. Thank you for giving us this law of love, Jesus. Amen.
