Meet KDB's New Program Manager!
|
We are excited to welcome KDB's new Program Manager, Julie Anderson!
You may have heard Julie's name before - for the past three years, Julie served as the City of Denton's first Bike and Pedestrian Coordinator.
During that time, she worked to implement the Bike Plan, organized the first-ever open streets event, CycloDia, and received $1.5 million in federal funding for active transportation projects. She also served as Vice Chair for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee of the North Central Texas Council of Governments.
Julie is a native of many places, but mostly grew up in southeastern Idaho. After living in Idaho, Utah, New York, and Kansas, she has made Texas her home for the past three years. She is a graduate of the University of Utah with a Masters in City Planning. She loves Denton and thinks that keeping it beautiful is a pretty great job. Julie can most often be found in a movie theater, at home with her cats, or out with friends.
