Spring into April with Read & Explore, Winery Trivia, and Farm Fun at Terhune Orchards

April is here and the farm is waking up for spring! Take advantage of warmer weather to enjoy the barnyard playground and visit the farm animals, or take a stroll along the farm trail.

This weekend, enjoy a glass of wine or a wine slushy in our historic apple orchard while listening to live, local music.

Read & Explore: Composting

Today, Tuesday April 7 & This Saturday April 11 at 10am

Spring is here, and we’re wrapping up our Read & Explore program with a hands-on, worm-tastic adventure! This week’s theme is Composting, and it’s all about turning everyday “garbage” into garden gold. We’ll read fun stories about worms and composting, then each child will make their very own compost container to take home!

It’s the perfect way to beat cabin fever, enjoy some fresh farm air, and get ready for gardening season.

Pre-registration is required. Each program costs $12 per participating child and includes the materials for the activity.

Spring Winery Trivia Series Begins

Next Thursday April 16, 5-8pm

The Spring series of Winery Trivia is here! Test your knowledge, have fun and win prizes with D.J. Iron Mike in the Terhune winery. Rounds will include categories such as General Knowledge, Entertainment, History & Geography, Sports, and Name that Tune.

Grab your team and come out for a fun evening! No cover charge; trivia kicks off at 6pm. Don’t miss the next two in the series, May 14 and June 4.

Winery Weekend Music Series

Join family and friends in our historic apple orchard for our Spring Winery Weekend Music Series! It is the perfect way to relax, connect, and toast the season.

Enjoy a glass of one of our award-winning wines, sit back, and listen to live music from local artists each week. Styles range from Jazz and Blues to Folk and Rock. The music is from 1pm-4pm. Light fare is available.
