UWRF alum receives a Golden Apple award!

UWRF alum and Eau Claire Putnam Heights second grade teacher Helen Rada ('21) received a Golden Apple award recently. Throughout the month of February, WEAU, the Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation and local businesses honored staff members from each of the district’s 20 schools with a Golden Apple award. Honorees are nominated by their peers and receive grant funding in their schools. Join us in congratulating Rada!

Summer Session Registration Opens Soon

Registration for Summer Session opens March 11. Students, employees, alumni and the community are welcome to take courses offered during the summer.

  

More than 250 courses, including a variety of general education classes will be offered.

Course delivery options include in-person, online and hybrid as well as internships and independent study. Sessions include three, six, nine and twelve-week options.

The Farm and Industry Short Course (FISC)

will continue at UWRF!



Previously taught at UW-Madison the FISC moved to UWRF this past fall. FISC provides world-class, hands-on training targeting just what you need to know to step into the dairy industry. The current session will end on March 15 and the next session will run from Oct. 23, 2024-March 14, 2025.
