Spring has officially arrived! The days are getting longer, the sun is mostly shining, and it’s the perfect time for fresh starts—both for nature and for families. This season, let's embrace new ways to connect with our kids, refresh our routines, and enjoy the little moments that make parenting so special. | | 4 Ways to "Spring" into Parenting This Season: | |
1️⃣ Check In on Your Parenting Journey – Parenting doesn’t come with a handbook, and we’re all learning as we go! Take a moment to reflect—are bedtime battles, screen time, or cooperation a struggle? You’re not alone, and support is available. (Learn about Triple P, our Positive Parenting Program, here.)
2️⃣ Prioritize Family Connection – With longer days and warmer weather, set aside dedicated screen-free time every day to truly connect as a family.
| | |
3️⃣ Take Care of Yourself – Parenting is demanding, but recharging helps you be your best. Find small moments for self-care each day—you deserve it!
4️⃣ Celebrate Your Incredible Kid! – April 18th is Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®—the perfect time to celebrate your amazing child! This month, create a recognition poster or bulletin board filled with notes, photos, and reminders of their achievements, strengths, and the things you love about them. A little encouragement goes a long way!
