Springtime Trees
The late-winter cold earlier this month is finally giving way to more Spring-like weather, and the trees in our orchard are responding! Buds are beginning to swell and soon will have the tree branches covered in brilliant green leaves and billowy white flowers.

National Arbor Day, celebrated in our area on the last Friday of April, recognizes the vital role of trees. Trees clean our atmosphere, provide food and habitat for wildlife, add cooling shade to urban spaces, and some, like those in our orchards, even produce "wonderful fruit"!
Speaking of Pears:
" I look forward to enjoying my wonderful pears!"
