February 2026

FULL CARTS. FULLER HEARTS. SINCE 1979.

There’s something about a mild February in Wisconsin that lifts everyone’s spirits…and we’re feeling that lift at Family Sharing of Ozaukee County. Our pantry continues to serve neighbors with care and respect, and our resale boutique is buzzing with activity and purpose. As we continue our mission to alleviate hunger in Ozaukee County with dignity and compassion, we are reminded that it truly takes all of us.

Whether you give, volunteer, shop, or simply spread the word, you are helping ensure that every neighbor who walks through our doors is met with kindness and hope. We are excited for the months ahead and all the opportunities to continue serving together.

We’re in the process of making some changes in the building - mostly behind the scenes. We are crammed into this building, utilizing every nook at cranny, so we’re always looking for ways to be efficient and make the most of the space we have. Next week we have a crew coming in to subdivide our conference room and breakroom/storage space to create additional office space to give staff dedicated places to focus and provide a comfortable, private space to meet with new pantry clients. Upstairs, we’re shifting our layout to improve sorting, organizing, and pricing of donations. We’re especially excited to create a warmer, brighter space for our Toy Department volunteers as they tackle puzzles and games, and we’ve carved out room for off-season sporting goods as well.

Did you know there is an “upstairs” in our building?? 😉

This is what we are up to at Family Sharing!

Praise and Spirits

The second Praise and Spirits event raised the roof at the Cedarburg Cultural Center. Thank you to all who attended for your generous donations to Family Sharing.

Family Sharing receives "Share the Love" gift.

We were incredibly honored to be selected by Robin, Bob, and the amazing parishioners of St. John Lutheran Church as this year's "Share the Love" recipient.

For the 8th year, they have chosen a community organization to recognize and support for the work they do- and this year, that organization is Family Sharing.

From the Pantry

Earlier this month we welcomed Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin's new regional partnership coordinator, Katie. We are excited to build a stronger partnership and work together to improve our services across Ozaukee County.

This month we welcomed a group from MK Dental Group who helped check and sort cans. They had a great time-what an awesome team building experience!
