Hello, spring!

Spring is more than a transitional time between cold temperatures and warm beach days — it's a season of beautiful blooming flowers, fun activities happening on campus, and new beginnings! Literary region champions place 4th at 7-A state competition

Carrollton High School's literary team pulled off a fourth-place finish out of 18 schools in the toughest classification in the Georgia High School Association state competition, held March 18 at Buford High School.

CHS junior wins Carrollton Women's Civic Club Award in Creative Writing Contest

Carrollton High School junior Kieran Kelly won the Carrollton Civic Women’s Club Award in the Carrollton Writers Guild/Center for the Arts High School Creative Writing Contest for his poem "Burden."

Each month, Carrollton Upper Elementary School selects students of the month who represent one of their character education words. The students chosen for the month of February exemplify the characteristics of "respect."

CJHS entrepreneur starts candle business

Carrollton Junior High School student West Yancey can't even drive and he already owns a business. West started a candle-making business called WesternJars. His teacher, Mr. Jeremy Maxwell said, "I have ordered several candles from West, as have other teachers at CJHS. He has followed through with every order in a timely manner — and the candles are quality products." At Carrollton, it only takes one year for something to become a tradition. That's how important traditions are to the Trojan Nation.


For more than a decade now, one tradition continues to garner smiles, prompt tears and lead to tight hugs of affection and support - SENIOR LETTERS - written by family and friends.
