Women's History Month Bingo at The Nomad Bar

Striving but Still Struggling?
Learn About Our ALICE Asset Building Program

Hardworking families across Delaware are doing everything right — working, budgeting, and striving — yet still struggling to afford the basics. Many fall into what is known as ALICE: Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. 
We're hosting three online information sessions on April 7 at 6:00 p.m., April 8 at 12:00 p.m., and April 9 at 6:00 p.m. to help individuals and families learn how they can participate in our ALICE Asset Building Program and strengthen their credit, prepare for homeownership, access trusted lending partners, receive sustained financial coaching and build long-term financial stability.

Artists Across Delaware: Submit Your Juneteenth T-Shirt Design  We will be accepting submissions for our 2026 Juneteenth T-Shirt Design Contest from Monday, March 23 through Sunday, April 12.  We’re looking for an original design that captures the spirit of Juneteenth and reflects the strength, resilience, and unity of our community. Artists of all ages are encouraged to participate, and there is no fee to enter.
The winning design will be printed on the official YWCA Delaware 2026 Juneteenth celebration t-shirt, and the top three artists will receive gift card prizes.

Kristi Ash
Kristi Ash, CDPSE, Principal Technical Program Manager at Chase, brings more than 20 years of professional leadership experience and a strong commitment to community service. Her connection to our mission is deeply personal.
Having experienced the challenges of rebuilding after an emotionally abusive relationship, Kristi understands how essential strong support systems and compassionate communities are for women finding their strength again. Her perspective and resilience bring meaningful insight to our organization.

Tracy Conway 
Tracy Conway, RHIT, LSSGB, CHW is passionate about serving others and strengthening communities. She is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals while supporting their overall well-being.
Whether in her role as a Community Educator and Acute Care Connector with ChristianaCare, through her volunteer work, and in her faith walk, Tracy consistently embodies empowerment and compassion. As a thriver after experiencing homelessness, she brings powerful lived experience, authenticity, and a strong voice for the individuals and families we support.

Leslie A. Nutter
Leslie A. Nutter is the Executive Director of the Southbridge Community Development Corporation (CDC), where she leads efforts to revitalize Wilmington's historic Southbridge through affordable housing, workforce training, and community empowerment initiatives.  A U.S. Navy aviation veteran with more than 40 years of leadership experience, Leslie has worked across multiple nonprofit, government, private, and faith-based sectors including serving as Chief Operating Officer of DETV Foundation and Executive Pastor at Family Life Worship Center. Through her leadership and community partnerships, she is dedicated to strengthening neighborhoods and expanding opportunities for residents. In addition to serving on YWCA Delaware's Board of Directors, Leslie also serves on the Board of the African American Chamber of Commerce for PA, NJ, and DE.
