Following the highly successful Tour of Champions Bowl-A-Thon, The FOUNDATION is once again offering summer scholarship opportunities!
- Seeking dance classes or scuba lessons?

Lucky Littles and Young Explorers | | |
Join the Lucky Littles (birth to 8 years or expecting parents) and Young Explorers (1st to 6th grade) and their families for an adventurous day at Brevard Zoo on Saturday, April 6th!
What you need to know:
- The excitement starts at 10 am, 10:30 am, and 11 am – simply choose your preferred time during registration.
- Prepare for an amazing experience with over 900 animals from various parts of the world, spanning from Florida to Australia!
- Admission ($10 for adults, $5 for kids aged 3 to 17) covers zoo entry and a train ride for all participants! Children under three enter for free – let's create lasting memories!

LEAP - Learning Enrichment Academic Program | | |

Parent Informational Meeting | | |
Join us for our April Parent Informational Meeting on SPELLERS - Spelling To Communicate! The event will be held on Thursday, April 18 from 7-9 pm at Summit Church in Orlando.
Traci Vogin and Tracy Lattanzi, representing the Orlando LetterBoard Community Inc., will provide insights into this incredible resource.
SPELLERS utilizes the Spelling to Communicate (S2C) methodology, along with supporting similar approaches, to assist individuals with motor challenges in developing the motor skills needed to spell by pointing to letters for communication. The ultimate aim is to establish harmony between cognition and motor skills, enabling purposeful communication.
Dinner will be catered by The FOUNDATION, so please inform us in advance of any food allergies. Childcare is available for families that register ahead of time. We are excited to have you join us - RSVP now!

2024 iCan! Bike Camp - Register TODAY! | | |
Are you ready to help your son/daughter pedal towards fun, friendship, and freedom? Registration for our 13th Annual iCan! Bike Camp is now OPEN!
iCan! Bike Camp provides individuals with Down syndrome and ANYONE over the age of eight (8) who has not yet learned to ride a two-wheel bicycle the opportunity to gain this vital skill. Incredibly, 80% of the participants finish the 5-day camp able to ride a two-wheel bike.
Learning to ride a two-wheel bicycle has many benefits:
- Exercises cardiovascular muscles
- Builds muscle mass
- Relieves stress
- Strengthens emotional wellness
- Produces positive change in family dynamics
- Leads to independent transportation
- And many more!
Join us as we continue to create an avenue to independence for the participants by helping riders gain assurance, and self-confidence and giving them a gateway to become active members in their community.

The Do You Have A Minute? IEP Success Stories and Questions session, co-hosted by Debbie Gelinas, The IEP Advocate, aims to provide a platform for parents to share success stories, ask questions about the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, and connect with others for support and guidance. Through collaboration and sharing experiences, parents can gain insight and resources to navigate the IEP process effectively. The goal is to empower parents to navigate this important process by creating a supportive and sharing community.
