Artist Spotlight: Cayla Pierson

I had full time jobs, part time jobs, and volunteered a lot, but I failed at everything. I wanted to do something with my life, though I didn't know what. I was in a writers group and had always loved the creative arts. My therapist suggested I try Interact Center and thought it might be a good fit for me--they were right! It has been a tremendous opportunity and given me confidence in myself. I love being on stage in the limelight and the acting process helps me get out of myself. M y anxiety has subsided and  I have become confident person. Now that I'm a theater artist, I want to go further--write and direct!
