I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who supported our annual Sips, Suds & Sweets event on April 3rd! Your generosity and enthusiasm made it possible for us to host yet another successful gathering, raising essential funds that will significantly impact the lives of seniors through our Senior Wishes program. It was the highlight of the event to honor our remarkable VIP Wish Recipients, including Leslie, who at 100 years young has proudly joined our Century Club; Virginia, who was delighted to have her wish granted to visit her son in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving; Richard, a distinguished Air Force Veteran with a commendable service record in Korea and Vietnam; and Dennis, a brave Vietnam Combat Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Both Richard and Dennis received HERO Boxes from Senior Wishes last November, showcasing the profound impact of community support on their lives.

Julie Sentiff was honored as the Volunteer of the Year at Sips, Suds & Sweets for her unwavering dedication and service to our organization and local seniors. Julie is currently the Vice President of Care Transitions for CarePatrol of Buffalo-Niagara. She has made volunteering a family activity by including her children, and their friends, in helping us with the Valentine’s Day and Holiday programs every year. The Senior Wishes program is what it is today because of the impact Julie has made over the last eight years as a former Board Member and a Volunteer, and we are grateful for her support!
