In this month’s Spotlight, we’re thrilled to feature the swift and successful sale of 1308 Seaton Ln in Falls Church, VA—a show-stopping new construction by Cottage Street Homes that went under contract in just 8 days. Tagging Our Way To Seamless Look

Here’s a little staging secret that’s saved us more times than we can count: the humble tag gun—yes, the same tool used to attach price tags in retail—can be a lifesaver when it comes to quick furniture fixes.

During staging installs, we occasionally come across a beautiful accent chair, ottoman, or upholstered bench where the bottom lining or dust cover has started to sag or detach. It’s a small detail, but it can make a piece look tired, worn, or unfinished—which is the last thing we want when we’re trying to create a polished, welcoming space.

Instead of digging out a staple gun or attempting a more involved fix, we grab our fine-fabric tag gun. With just a few quick clicks, we can reattach the fabric neatly and securely, without damaging the material or leaving visible marks. The plastic fasteners are subtle and discreet—so the furniture looks like it was never touched.

Whether you’re a professional stager or just someone who loves keeping your furniture looking its best, a tag gun is a handy little tool worth having in your back pocket.

So the next time a dust cover droops or fabric starts to shift—don’t panic. Just tag it and go!
