Stories are one of, if not THE, most valuable marketing asset at your nonprofit’s disposal. Stories connect people to your cause, convert one-time donors to lifelong supporters, build trust and relationships and demonstrate your impact in the community. Stories are limitless and when presented correctly, they can be the most powerful tool in your marketing arsenal. Told without a strategy and purpose, they will eat up valuable time and resources with very little return.   In this training, three marketing experts will share best practices and practical advice on the use of content and storytelling to promote Spring2ACTion and engage donors throughout the year. You will learn: How to tailor your story to different audiences and platforms What types of stories work best on which platform What information should be highlighted on each platform How to recycle content on each platform and much, more   We all have a story to tell, learn how to really make it count!

Securing Matching Grants

It’s time to start thinking about matching grants!   Matching (and Challenge) Grant opportunities can be a game changer. On average, matching opportunities increase a donor's likelihood to give by  22%  and the actual donation amount by  19%  . Increase your Spring2ACTion return by reaching out now to your high-level givers or consider enlisting a corporate sponsor. You can also ask your Board members to pool their donations to create a match. Nonprofits with matching funds raised more than  4.5x  more on average than those without one.
