Ohio law (Ohio Revised Code 3313.6029) requires districts, community schools, STEM schools and chartered nonpublic schools to report the results of Ohio’s State Tests to students’ parents or guardians no later than June 30 of each year. Results may either be sent via mail, electronic mail or by posting the scores to a secure portal on the district or school’s website that families can access. Springboro Schools will be posting scores to a secure parent portal.
Click Here to Learn More & View Your Assessment Scores
The required test reporting date of June 30 each year applies to Ohio’s State Tests in grades 3 through 8 and high school end-of-course tests. The June 30 reporting date does not include the Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessments (OELPS, OELPA and Alt-OELPA), the Alternate Assessment for Students with the Most Significant Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD), ACT or SAT.

A Message from the Nurse
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This time of year always comes with increased illness throughout the community and in our schools. Please review these guideline for when your student can return to school following illness:
Return to school guidelines:
- Students must be fever free (without fever reducing medications) for 24 hours. If your student is sent out with a fever we are requesting a minimum of 24 hours at home. Ex. A Student sent home Monday at 11:00 am would not return to school until Wednesday. We ask that the full day be taken to make sure your student is healthy and not contagious. If a student returns before this time, you will be called to come and pick your child up.
- Students who are experiencing Vomiting/Diarrhea: It is recommended that the student remain home 24 hours after their last episode of vomiting/diarrhea. Example: If your child is sent home from school ill on Monday, regardless what time they signed out, we would ask that they remain home the next day and return to school if better on Wednesday. If a student returns before this time, you will be called to come and pick your child up.
If you have a doctor’s note, a diagnosis of illness is helpful to track and monitor illness during the school year. Reminder: the excused absence is based on the date(s) provided on the medical note.
please reach out to Mrs. Striebel , 937-748- 3953 or at jstriebel@springboro.org if you have any questions.

These new multiple price points will be referred to as tiered pricing. This structure will allow the Food/ Nutrition Department to offer more "made to order meals" and healthy options going forward! Check out our interactive 2024/25 menu here, which will be live sometime the week of August 5th. Also, this PDF version shows what options will cost what.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We hope this message finds you well. As we approach the holy month of Ramadan, we understand that some students may choose to observe fasting during this time. To accommodate their needs, Springboro Schools is offering a Ramadan Meal Waiver for students who will not be participating in the school meal program during fasting hours.
For students who are fasting but would still like to receive a school meal, we are offering a take-home meal option at the end of the school day. These meals will be available at the normal meal charge, based on the student’s meal status (free $0.00, reduced $0.00, or full pay $2.65 k-6 $2.75 9-12).
If your child will be fasting and you wish to request a waiver or the take-home meal option, please complete this Ramadan Meal Waiver Form by February 21st. Families who opt into the waiver will be contacted to finalize meal selections and ensure that we accommodate their needs appropriately.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact Kelsey Warren - kwarren@springboro.org or 937-748-3960 ext 4664

Meal payments may be made on-line through PaySchools Central. Cash or check (payable to Springboro Food Service Department) is also accepted. Free and reduced meal applications are available online, and money can now be transferred between sibling’s meal accounts on PaySchools Central as well.
If you would like to add restrictions to your student’s account, please email kwarren@springboro.org. More information regarding restrictions can be found here.
Free and Reduced Meals Application
Families who believe they qualify for the Free/Reduced Meal program will need to fill out our online application for approval. Our online application is the fastest way to qualify for the Free/Reduced Meal program. Families have to fill out an application every school year for their student(s) to receive benefits.
Click Here to Fill Out Our Online Application for the Free/Reduced Meal Program
If you would prefer to fill out a paper application, please return a completed form to Kelsey Warren at Springboro Central Office - 1685 S Main Street, Springboro, OH 45066. The due date for this Friday, September 27th!
If you are currently approved for the Free/Reduced Meal Program, you would have thirty (30) school days to submit a new application before your benefits expire from last school year.
Food Allergy/Special Dietary Needs Form
Does your student have a Food Allergy/Intolerance or Special Dietary needs?
New for the 2024/25 school year, we need you to fill out a Special Diet and Food Allergy Accommodation Form for any student that has a food allergy, special diet or needs a food substitution or accommodation within their school lunch. This does not need to be filled out annually, only when/if information changes. This is different from the Allergy Emergency Action Plan.
We do need this filled out EVEN if you have provided this information previously to your school nurse in another way, such as through registration gateway.
Please submit this form to either Kelsey Warren or your building clinic nurse.
Check out everything you need to know about this form and some FAQs HERE.
