COVID Housing and Unemployment Questions Answered
On May 6, the Springfield Healthy Homes Collaborative (SHHC) and Arise for Social Justice held a Facebook Live Event on Housing and Health: What You Need to Know During COVID-19 . Their guest speakers were Jane Edmonstone and Claudia Quintero from Community Legal Aid presenting and addressing questions on everything from evictions on subsidized or private housing to unemployment.

Next Steps for Worker Safety by the New England Consortium at UMass Lowell
The New England Consortium (TNEC), based at UMass Lowell, offers a 2-hour training course on worker safety as organizations begin to open businesses during COVID-19. This NO-COST training is delivered virtually with live instructors.

This course will be offered from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the following dates:
 
The CDC has issued guidance on reopening schools, homes and businesses with particular guidance on cleaning and disinfection. See their new checklist .
