Dearest gentle readers:

Hope this finds you well and that you're having a fabulous start to spring! We've been busy bees, and we have lots to look forward to, as well.

No one is enjoying the warmer weather more than our young friends from Kids Alley. After an engaging story time with Christine Tortorella of the Tortorella Foundation, the younger group was gifted with soccer balls and it's safe to say they enjoyed their time outside!

The following week, we asked the older group to create vision boards expressing their passions and aspirations, and they rose to the challenge. Afterward, we sent them home with some graphic novels to further feed their wonderful imaginations.

Speaking of comics, our Graphic Novel Drive at Rutgers-Camden, organized by the wonderful Feroza Aziz, is going strong! We've received some great donations already. Keep 'em coming! Donation bins are located on the Rutgers-Camden campus.

We were also happy to install a new book ark, painted by the lovely Amy Tan, at Cooper's Poynt Family School! Thank you to Amy, BookMates, and Principal Casella for collaborating with us to bring free books to Cooper's Poynt.

Last but not least, we are launching a Patreon!

While we are fortunate to receive donated books to pass on to our pop-up library guests and stock our book arks and shelves, there are certain books we must purchase to supplement the donations (books in Spanish, activity books, etc.) and other costs associated with keeping our programs going.

We are launching this Patreon to raise funds toward continuing to serve Camden and the surrounding areas by increasing literacy access.
