Bo Peep

FKA Tres

Bo Peep's New Flock

“We adopted Tres last month. She’s doing really well. She is so cute and affectionate. We spend a lot of time petting and cuddling on the couch. She really dislikes other cats.

You were right when you recommended that she be the only cat in the home. She saw a stray that we feed outdoors and growled and charged at him. Luckily, I got her back inside before any real altercation started. Other than that event, she’s not interested in going outdoors. She’s eating very well, loves the Friskies shreds that you recommended. Her new name is Bo Peep because of her little squeaky meow.

We are so happy that Tres/ Bo Peep has come to live with us. Thank you for being so kind on adoption day.”

On A Roll!

“In September 2024, we adopted Jelly (now named Sushi). She turned one! We want to thank you so much for allowing us to adopt her. She's been a blessing and so much joy to have. We appreciate all you do for these gentle animals.”

Ace

ACED IT!

HSSC alum Ace is a familiar face in our Happy Tails emails and it’s been so fun watching his progress! His “mom” just shared the exciting news that he recently took the Canine Good Citizen test.

How’d he do?

He ACED it, of course! Way to go, Ace! We are so proud of you!

Purrfect Home!

“I adopted Purrcy from the Humane Society of Sonoma County’s Santa Rosa shelter, and we are so in love! She is playful, affectionate and beautiful!

 Thank you!”

Purrcy

Mochi

FKA Bailey

Mochi Meets His Match

Bailey was transferred to HSSC all the way from a shelter in Palm Springs during the holiday season last year.

He’d been bounced around from shelter to shelter before finally landing with us. It took less than a New York minute for a fabulous family to come in and scoop him up! The sweet fluffball now answers to “Mochi” and, as his guardian shares, “is doing great!”

A Stella(r) Ending!

“I first saw Starla on the Sonoma County Animal Control website and followed her when she was transferred to Humane Society of Sonoma County. As soon as I picked her up and held her, I knew this was meant to be. What a sweet, lovely little cat. She is now called Stella.”

Toad

FKA Jinx

Toad-ally Purrfect!

“I wanted to share our adoption story from the Humane Society of Sonoma County (Healdsburg Campus).

My husband and I were looking to add another cat to our family, and we found the perfect match with Toad (FKA Jinx). He has fit into our family so well and brings so much happiness and joy, and we think he feels the same way!

He has instantly bonded with our other rescue, Paw, and they spend their days gallivanting through the house, watching birds out the window, wrestling, and of course sleeping! Thank you to HSSC for all that you do, we are so honored to give Toad the life he deserves.

Thank you so much!”
